The Regent of West Pasaman sleeps in a refugee tent with a carpet
West Pasaman, sumbarsatu.com -- Exhausted from almost a week of helping and taking care of the people affected by the big earthquake that rocked West Pasaman, Regent H. Hamsuardi was fast asleep in the refugee camp.
The number 1 person in West Pasaman was wanted and asked about his whereabouts by several people who were starting to worry about him. Not surprisingly, since an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 rocked his area, he as the regional leader was suddenly preoccupied with a pile of work and a load of thoughts in his head.
It can be seen from the sleeping position with the legs still bent, the shoes still attached to the feet, the hat that is still tightly gripped and sleeping next to the refugees who seem familiar with the place which is only covered with tarpaulin and carpet.
The rarely seen sight was instantly immortalized by people passing by around the refugee camps and sharing them on various social media.
Much support and prayers have been given by the people of West Pasaman to their leaders, hoping that the regent who is close to his people will always be given health and strength in leading West Pasaman. (SSC/NIR)
